"Juxtaposition"

Not sure why I picked that title. There was a humorous radio ad that used it so I thought it was cool and used it.

Right now I am actually quite sick, which is really annoying. Mostly a subtle headache and occasional chills. The chills could be from the air conditioner though. You know, maybe.

I felt this strange sensation in my chest last night but didn't actually know it was going to hit me like a ton of bricks. But it did at 3:00 in the morning. And for the life of me I couldn't fall back asleep. Just woke up from some rather strange dreams. The dreams seemed to be mainly inspired by a book I was recently reading: The Ghost Brigades by John Scalzi.

Scalzi is now actually my favorite author. I've already read three of his books. Only a few more left. He seems to be relatively new in that his first book was release in 2006 or so. His first published book I believe was "Old Man's War", which I can't recommend highly enough.

The dreams though partly from the Scalzi book and I think strangely enough something about network pickets and collisions. At least that's the closest thing I can think of. I'm guessing I had a fever. I mean there's only so many things that can cause rather bizaare dreams, right?

I spent the whole day in bed, sometimes sleeping, sometimes not. I did keep a constant stream of movies going all day. Total Recall, Dumb and Dumber , two star wars movies then the robot chicken and family guy star wars parodies. I'm now drinking lots of water so I can drink lots of niquil. After that I'll probably watch some Futurama or something.

I wonder how much if any of this post makese any sense. I think I still have a fever probably. But I think after the niquil that allows me to sleep it off I will be much better.

Well I think I feel better slightly for writing some stuff down. I'll have to do it more often maybe.  ¶ 8:23 PM 0 Comments
